Coverage for the 2014 NBA Draft begins tonight at 7:30 pm ET.
Over the last 48 hours, we’ve seen both LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony opting out of their respective contracts to become free agents this summer. The pending 2014 NBA Draft set to take place in a few moments, has been arguably the most anticipated drafts for the league in recent memory. Highlighted by potential franchise players Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins, every owner and general manager has contemplated whether trading away picks and talent to start fresh with the two soon-to-be stars.
Prior until Joel Embiid having foot surgery last week, the top 3 picks were pretty much set with the Dan Gilbert of the Cleveland Cavaliers leaning towards drafting the Kansas 7-footer and the Philadelphia 76ers going after Andrew Wiggins. While we expect the Milwaukee Bucks to take Jabari Parker with the number two overall pick, nothing tonight will surprise us regarding imminent trades picks, and talent in the likes of both Rajon Rondo and Kevin Love. Continue after the jump for live updates for tonight’s NBA Draft currently in progress.
