We saw Pill saying he would leak something earlier and word is bond because he just unleashed something off his upcoming 1140: The Overdose mixtape. Last year we saw him drop 4180: The Prescription and 4175: The Refill on his way to finishing off 2009 on a high note. Catch up if you’re still under a rock. Expect Pill to make even more noise in 2010.

As you might have seen earlier, HBO’s new show “How To Make It In America” will debut this Sunday at 10pm. KiD CuDi, who stars on the show, connected with DJ Green Lantern for the official ’soundtrack’ to the original series. Don’t expect all hip-hop tracks on here though because there are also some indie and electro bands on deck, including Yacht, Chromeo and Junkie XL.

On the hip-hop side.. Lupe Fiasco, Styles P, Freddie Gibbs, Nipsey Hussle & Jadakiss hold down the weight on the project while CyHi The Prince, Aloe Blacc & the Wave Machines round out the rest of the mixtape, which carries a wide array of genres all in one. Pill was featured on SMKA’s The 808 Experience Vol. 2 mixtape on the track titled “Aine Given Up” with Scolla and this is some footage they shot of an actual freestyle from Pill, which he kept going for about 6 minutes even though the video only shows 2 minutes of it. More footage of this session should be dropping soon. Video spotted at TSS.

HBO’s new show, “How To Make It In America” debuts this Valentine’s Day. As we’ve known for some time, KiD CuDi stars as Domingo (the well connected friend) and even though he only appears on here for a grand total of one minute between scenes for this first episode, we look forward to seeing how his character plays out on the show. The pilot has been put up for preview by HBO and at first glance, the show definitely has some potential. Heads up: DatNewCuDi.

“How to Make It in America” follows two enterprising Brooklyn twenty somethings as they hustle their way through New York City, determined to achieve the American Dream. Trying to make a name for themselves in New York’s competitive fashion scene, Ben Epstein (Greenberg) and his friend and business partner Cam Calderon (Rasuk) use their street knowledge and connections to bring their ambitions to fruition. With the help of Cam’s cousin Rene (Guzman), who is trying to market his own high-energy drink, and their well-connected friend Domingo (“Kid Cudi”), the entrepreneurs set out to make it big, encountering obstacles along the way that will require all their ingenuity to overcome.

Nike has taken the “all black everything” approach to this pair of Nike Zoom Kobe 5 (V)’s, which has been dubbed the Blackouts. They sport a predominantly black upper along with gunmetal grey accenting, including the toe guard and eyestay. A small portion of the outsole, as well as the black mamba logo, sport a purple design, but will rarely ever be seen. The shoe also sports Nike patented flywire technology, which is covered by the use of dark hues, making it difficult to view. Check after the jump for more pics.
